A 1930’s detached house with north facing gardens near the city centre required re designing and total updating during the early stage of the design it was clear that the brief cannot be accomplished within the current property envelope and internal arrangement and the brief was changed to build on the plot a new modern four bedroom house with large open plan living area and kitchen with a new block of four one bedroom self contained apartment next door .
