QE2

A sensitive and subtle intervention was made to this 1930’s, modernist, grade two listed house in Cambridge. A run-down external loggia and patio area have been transformed into a beautiful living space with large sliding glass screens with sun shading panels providing the external enclosure. Internal sliding screens incorporating shelving units form a visual filter between the family room and the garden room. Designs for a garden pavilion were included in the original proposal.
